Orders are processed on Wednesdays and Saturdays, however this varies dependant upon the numbers of orders we may have. If we have a ton, it may take a bit longer. And by we, I mean me! Also single item orders are faster to process. Fragile items, or orders with a number of items, take longer to pack as I take great care in making sure your items are safe and secure.
Due to COVID-19 I am taking extra precautions with processing as well as shipping your orders. There are also delays which are dependent upon the individual conditions of each state and territory.
The size of the order and the shipping method chosen will impact the delivery times. We use both Australia Post and couriers via Sendle who are a middle-man for courier companies Couriers Please and Fastway. If you only want us to use Australia Post, please include this in the notes section of your order. We are in the process of transitioning to a new service, MailPlus and we are looking forward to working with them! Once its all set up and running, we'll update our Shipping details.
When purchasing a PRE-ORDER item, the entire order is usually shipped when the pre-order items have been received by us and are ready for distribution.
All orders are packed personally by me: Gaby. I print your invoice, grab a bag or a box and gather your items from my shelves and storage tubs. I then sit down with a pen in hand and I pack your parcel. As I place your items into their box or courier bag, I tick them off the invoice. This way if I miss something, I go back and grab it.
Once everything has been accounted for, I initial the bottom of your invoice, fold your invoice and place it inside your package. It is then sealed up. I book the courier to collect or for me to drop off your items to the Australia Post Office. The label is printed and then stuck to your parcel. That's pretty much how it happens.
We are currently only shipping within Australia at this time. It doesn’t mean we don’t want to sell you our awesome products, it just means that right now we can’t commit to shipping beyond our shores. When this changes, we will of course make an enthusiastic and official announcement. And then you will be able to purchase to your heart’s content.
We are currently offering our customers a flat rate shipping service charged at $10.95. This is not actually what our shipping costs are. Shipping with Australia Post can cost anywhere from $9.15 up to $18.95 excluding the costs of the packaging, satchels, boxes etc. On average our costs are around the $15. We support our customers with a flat rate so that you know what to expect along your customer journey.
The shipping fees, however are subject to change without notice. We may return to provider calculated shipping.
The exact specifications regarding shipping will depend upon the size of your order. We cannot guarantee delivery times and the cost of shipping does not include insurance. If you would like insurance, please contact us so that we can discuss options with you which will include additional costs.
