I can't tell you how many times I have played this game as a preschool teacher. It's really best not to count. This iconic cooperative game from Ravensburger is a fun way to encourage children to work cooperatively, learn their colours and develop their concentration spans. Which colour snail will be first to make it to the finish line?
Snail’s Pace Race has six wooden snail pieces, which are ready to gun it to the finish line.
Children must place all the snails on their respective starting leaves first, and then guess the outcome of the race. Everyone then takes turns in rolling the coloured dice, then moving the relevant snail one place.
The game includes six wooden garden snails, two coloured dice, a playing board and instructions. This game is perfect for 2-6 players and takes approximately 15 minutes to play a round - perfect for developing concentration!
